In 1836, the Bordeaux painter Noël-Rose Tindel opened one of the very first sea-bathing establishments in Arcachon here. Balls, pinnace boat trips, refined cuisine... The house quickly became a popular holiday retreat. Behind the neoclassical façade, the soul of this exceptional residence is intact. A witness to the birth of Arcachon.

It took us two years to bring it back to life, driven by a strong conviction: to respect everything the house had been through, preserve its original architectural features and make the renovation a natural continuation of its past.

Yes, Villa Ti Bassin is not rented by the room. The whole house, the five suites, the gardens and the shared spaces are reserved for you alone.

In high season (July–August), we rent by the week. In low and mid season, stays from 3 nights are possible depending on availability. Feel free to check availability!
We welcome pets on request, depending on the stay. Just mention it in your message; we consider every request with care.
Everything is done directly, with no intermediary. You can book your stay directly or contact us via the form.
Absolutely. We work with a chef from L’Aiguillon who can cook for you on site or deliver meals prepared to your taste.
Yes. The bow window facing the Bay becomes a meeting room or a yoga shala, as needed.
